Volunteer

There are a number of ways you can volunteer to assist NDADA in helping those affected by domestic abuse across Devon

A lot of our clients need TLC as an ongoing part of their recovery, especially where parenting and rebuilding relationships are concerned. They need the support of a committed, non-judgemental friend to achieve a life of their choosing, free from abuse.

We are also always in need of volunteers to help us with various administrative duties, fundraising, marketing and promotions. If you’re a great communicator you could be going out giving talks about our work and actively creating opportunities for these.

Our Pattern Changing educational course always needs additional helpers and this is a rewarding role for volunteers. At a future date we may also need help with the delivery of a special parenting course for our recovering clients.

There are various roles helping children and young people in our refuge and in the community. We run educational programmes in schools when funding permits and this is a great opportunity for volunteers to help promote healthy relationships to the young people in our area.

We have our very own fashion boutique, RE:LOVE, in Barnstaple which needs reliable volunteers.

Please call us on 01271 377798.
