NDADA is made up of a wide group of committed individuals, including trustees, volunteers, the administrative and management team, shop team and more.

Sue Wallis

“With a background of 35 years working in the third sector, Sue’s passions are about people reaching their potential despite their individual challenges.  The last 10 years of her career have focused on working with women and children, advocating and challenging on their behalf. Sue has never lost the potential to be shocked by the challenges that people face in order to overcome the ordeal of domestic violence and abuse and find safer, happier, healthier lives for themselves and their children.  For the last six years Sue has been leading the team at North Devon Against Domestic (NDADA) successfully keeping the refuge firmly in the centre of public awareness throughout continued cuts to funding for the sector”.

Re:Store Shops Manager

With 15 years experience in high end London retail and design, Alessia arrived in North Devon on a mission to find a new life by the coast, and rewarding work with depth and integrity. Through fundraising fashion events and a little serendipity she was introduced to the work of North Devon Against Domestic Abuse and re:store charity shops were born – offering aspirational fashion focussed shopping at affordable prices in modern design-led interiors.

Alessia attributes the shop’s success to being brave, having hearty ethics, and making work fun for the team of volunteers that support the shops.
